Open Post: Gosalyn

Leave a picture prompt or text starter, and I'll pick things up from there!
I'll be playing Gosalyn from after the events of "Let's Get Dangerous" - Season 3, Episode 12 of DuckTales.
Canon, cross-canon, and AU scenarios are all welcome. Please specify your preferences. SFW only.
So I haven't actually seen the episode yet, but I've been spoiled to some things
Regardless, he was glad to be able to assist somehow, and he felt a sense of pride with all the tech that he'd built for the other hero. Dropping by today was just a routine maintenance, just to make sure everything was still in proper working order.
While he'd been there a few times before, he still entered carefully, not wanting to trip any potential traps that might have been set up since the last time he'd been there. "Hello...?" he called out, trying to keep an eye out for the caped crusader. "DW?"

...Except, hold up, she'd seen that face before, hadn't she? Her finger hesitated, hovering over the crossbow's trigger...
Oh!
"Hey, you're nerd number three," Gosalyn remarked as she climbed down a ladder into view, smirking. "The super scientist, right?"
no subject
"My name's Fenton. Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera."
no subject
"Cool. I'm Gosalyn- Waddlemeyer."
There was the briefest pause before she said her last name. Even if he was gone, she was still a Waddlemeyer. And besides, she should had to get back up and keep her hope alive, just as Drake had advised.

He'd heard a bit about the girl from DW, just enough so he could help look for her grandfather. He didn't realize that she would be hanging around here, though.

Whether he was being a scientist or being a hero, the whole point of everything he did was to help people.
Her question had him gesture further into the lair, as he started making his way towards the computer. "Oh, I'm just here to run some diagnostics. Make sure everything's up to date. Is DW in?"
no subject
And while she herself was no super science nerd, she would be lying if she said she wasn't curious about some of this tech and how it worked.

To the surprise of no one.

Which is fine, he was more than happy to help and explain. But it was also nice to have others who shared this particular interest.
“Honestly, I didn’t really ask about that,” he answered with a snicker. “But it’s possible.”
Either that, or he was lonely in this big lair by himself.
.......he should really look into getting a lair or headquarters. Or something.

Not that he was judging. Actually, it was kind of fun seeing if he could get create actual working tech off stuff from the show. It was kind of like a challenge for himself.
"Just making sure everything is running smoothly. I'd hate for him to miss an actual emergency just because I overlooked something."
no subject
"That's cool. Hey, can I ask you something, though?"
no subject
"Uh, yeah sure. What's up?"

She only caught a glimpse of Gosalyn, but recognized her from Dewey's livestream. But why was she headed for the bridge...?
Curious, and kicking in her stealth skills as trained by her Granny, she began to stalk the red-head, unknowingly heading right into the lair of the city's biggest (and only) hero.

But while Webby had learned from a master, she wasn't a master herself - some of this definitely made some noise.
no subject
"Okay, what gives? I know you're following me!"
no subject
With a kick, Webby shoved the rest of the ladder down to the ground, sliding down afterwards with a perfect landing. All perfectly normal.
"Hi, I'm Webby!"
no subject
"Hello? You can't just go around stalking people for fun! That's seriously- Wait, Webby?"
It's a pretty distinct name, and she wonders if this is the girl Dewey mentioned...
no subject
"I saw you on Dewey's livestream, and he told me how cool you were, so when we came to Saint Canard, I really wanted to meet you and see your coolness for myself!"
C'mon. You can't stay mad at that face. C'mooon.
no subject
"Is this your first time in Saint Canard? I can show you around."
no subject
... Yeah, this wasn't going to be anywhere near as easy as Gosalyn thought it'd be.
"What's it like being his kid sidekick? Do you have a catchphrase?"
no subject
"I'm not taking you there. And I definitely don't have a catchphrase."
no subject
"Aw, why not?" Pause. "The lair, not the catchphrase. The catchphrase stuff is hard. But as for the lair, I'd never tell! Not even if they tortured me - I've been trained extra hard against all interrogation techniques!"

The only trouble was, he hadn't had a good sleep in over a week now. Three hours here, two hours there... He'd had about six hours after a car crash knocked him unconscious; that'd been a swell nap. Needless to say, when he wandered into DW's secret hideout this time, it was with a wobble, drooping eyes and a paper bag in one hand.
"DW? Gosalyyyn? Uncle Launchpad's here and he's brought hamburgers!"
Had he stopped by Hamburger Hippo's drivethru on the way to St. Canard? Absolutely. Did he get coffee for himself? ...He meant to, but he forgot.
no subject
And of course, he really seemed to care about her and Drake. That wasn't something Gosalyn could just ignore. So when Launchpad came in looking pretty much dead on his feet, she was concerned as she approached him.
"LP? You okay, dude?"
no subject
"I'm fine, I'm fiiine," he said with a dismissive wave of the hand, though it was more of a slurred mumble than an actual statement. He went to drop the burger bag on the table, then drop himself down on the couch. "Definitely not about to conk out...! But enough about me. How was your day?"

Too many adventures? There was no such thing!

... Oh boy...

That's what Darkwing hopes. But so far it's been nearly an hour with no sign of any suspicious activity, and no alerts about any other crimes from WANDA. So it's starting to feel more like they're just camping out on this rooftop. Sure they have some snacks and such on them, but Drake feels that Gosalyn could use something more food-like. So he eventually suggests, "Okay, if there's nothing in fifteen minutes, how about I order us a pizza?"
no subject
As is the idea of pizza. Gosalyn smiles some up at Darkwing with a nod at that suggestion. "Sounds good. What kind of toppings do you usually get?"
no subject
Drake smiles as he talks about toppings. "I tend to go for mushrooms. Especially here... something about the mushrooms in this city are just magical! And what's your preference?"

It is the simplest way to solve most pizza-related problems, after all!

For the pizza, or...?

He then steps away for a moment as he makes the call. ...And spends several minutes trying to tell them exactly which random rooftop to bring the pie to.
