The snort of laughter Louie made once he'd tracked Gobo down was far from dignified, but then again, dignified also couldn't be used to describe the sight he'd come upon: one extremely full-up Fraggle liking a small bowl of stew clean - small bowl, but not his first bowl, it would seem. He sputtered in an attempt to recover his words, but it took a minute before he could get out, "Gobo, dude, what happened?"

Louie snickered in return, and then was quiet for a moment. It was nice, just relaxing with Gobo like this... "You know, you should do this more often. Chilling is way better than adventures."

"Hey, I chill plenty." He laughed, though regretted it at a stomachache pang. "Heck you and I have chilled lots of times."

Louie couldn't really argue that, nor was there any reason to. Gobo might have been an explorer at heart, but he was considerate of Louie's slower, calmer preferences.

"Heh, guess so." Louie reorganized himself so he was lying with his body at a more acute angle to Gobo's than before.

He smiled in satisfaction, laughing some. "There ya go." When Louie moved Gobo's tail had to be flicked out of the way, so he just flopped it across Louie's midsection instead.

"You know..."

You know, thank you for that.

You know, it means a lot to me that you like me the way I am.

You know...

There were a lot of ways to finish that sentence that would ring true, but nothing he felt comfortable vocalizing.

Also nothing he felt he had to vocalize for it to be understood.

Instead, he gave Gobo's tail a little pat as he scooched around to lie beside him properly.

He'd glanced up at him when he spoke, then watched curiously as he moved. Smiling, he settled into his spot again, keeping his tail across him, though he did shift it after a moment to thread under one arm and tuck the poofball up under his chin.

Louie giggled through his nostrils at that, shoving the poofball back down.

"I'll roll you over," he threatened with a smirk.

"Please don't." He laughed, and just wormed his tail under the other arm instead. "I may actually blow up if you do that."

"You absolutely would blow up," Louie said matter-of-factly. "I guess I'll just have to restrain myself."

[gobetween]

"I guess you will." He snickered, then blinked and smiled. "Oh, hey! I got a postcard from Uncle Travelling Matt! He still takes regular trips out here into Outer Space from that room down in the Rock he discovered, and he mailed me about a recent adventure."

He had to push his hips up into the air because it was in the large pocket at the back of his vest, but eventually he fished it out. Though he'd said 'postcard' and there was indeed one, it was in an envelope addressed to Fraggle Home. From this he pulled the card and a small sheet of photobooth photos, which he passed over to Louie. Flicking the card up, he read it aloud. "'Dear Nephew Gobo'...."

Louie listened to the postcard with the occasional chuckle, as he looked the photos over with a lopsided grin. "...Yeah, photobooths - they have one at Funzo's Fun Zone. They're pretty fun."

"Photobooths, eh?" He turned the postcard over to look at the front. "I thought photos were only those things in your phone."

"What? No. Actually, people who are serious about photography use a camera. There's all kinds of them, too. Webby has one of those instant ones, which is cool. You just look through the viewfinder and then the picture comes out a couple seconds after you press the button... You know, I bet Mokey would really like taking photos."

[gobetween]

He considered what he knew about the photo taking on Louie's phone, and nodded. "Yeah, I bet she would. Preserving little pieces of what's around her, but quicker than painting or sketching it. I'll ask Uncle Scrooge about it later."

"Exactly. And I bet Red rather be photographed than wait around posing, you know?" he pointed out. "It's a good idea."

Most of his ideas, of course, were.

"Yeah! Red would love a photo. And another one of all her trophies." He laughed again, then handed over the postcard if Louie wanted to look at it as well.

"Oh, of course one of all her trophies," Louie snickered, taking the postcard and looking at Matt's writing, then flipping it over. "You know, that's a photo. Postcards are letters with photos. You've had photos all this time."

"I have? Well, whaddya know." He laughed again, lacing his hands together above his stomach. Because around the stomach was too tall. "I always thought that was just how postcards were, or were really elaborate paintings. Some of them kinda really looked like that."

"Yeah, some of them might have been illustrations, but mostly I'd put this in the same column as 'Doozer Sticks are made from Radishes,' really." A bit of a lengthy pause, then he added, "I hope you appreciate how hard I have to fight not to poke your stomach or something."

"Heyy, hey. First there's nothing that can even take photos down in the Rock, so how would we know?" He snorted some. "Second, the Doozers add other things to Doozer Sticks and they don't taste completely like radishes either."

He glanced down toward his stomach, then over at Louie, laughing again. "I do appreciate it. Thank you," said with exaggerated grace.

Louie snickered. "Excuses, man. Excuses." He rolled over, still next to Gobo, but now a bit further away and on his stomach - because he could do that still - his elbows against the floor and head in his hands. "I've had Doozer Sticks," he reminded Gobo, "and I guess you have a point."

"There, y'see? Then you definitely know they're more than just radishes. You should try the ones that're part mustard, part tomato. Best Doozer sticks I've ever had."

[talkyourwayout]

"Well. They still taste like radishes," Louie said, for the sake of being contrary. "...Part mustard and part tomato? I... How?"

[gobetween]

"If I knew that, I'd be a Doozer. Or at least able to cook." He snickered some. "I don't know how they do it, but it was still pretty dang good."

"You're pals with a couple of the Doozers, right? Kind of? You could always ask... You should at least ask if they can make some more of those."
