Della didn't much mind the cold, so long as she kept moving, which was (part of) why the visit to the other Duckburg's Manor had become a walk out in the slush. According to Scrooge, the snow had been fierce just a week ago, but now conditions were safe enough to be out in, though they were sticking to the Manor grounds just in case things got bad again. Della wasn't nuts about that limitation, but at least she was in good company.

She smiled over at Scrooge. "You do this regularly with my uncle, right?" she asked.

He leaned up a bit to look at him, staring for a long moment before he smiled gently, even laughed a bit. He gently thumped against him, finding his hand and squeezing it.

"I'm proud of ya too, Wembley. And I do know what you mean, and you're right. I guess all I'm saying is... I'm sorry I took advantage of you. And I'm glad you know now when you can say no to someone, even when it's me." A soft snicker through his nose. "Just, tell me when I'm doin' it again, eh? Being dumb that is."

Wembley smiled and returned the squeeze. He kissed the side of Gobo's snout. "Thanks, Gobo. And I forgive you, okay?" He chuckled. "I promise I'll tell you, if you'll return the favor by just - giving me a little flip upside down when I still wemble over stuff."

He laughed a little more earnestly and nodded. "Yeah, you can count on me for that, don't you worry."

Wembley giggled and cuddled closer. "Thanks. I'm glad I can."

He glanced down at what was left of the lettuce leave, then passed it over to Gobo. "Here, you want a bite?"

He looked down at the lettuce, then snickered and nodded, taking it from him.

"Sure. Thanks, Wembley."

"Aw, you're welcome, Gobo," Wembley said with a nod. "I'm happy to share."

He glanced at him, watching him for a long momenet. Then he smiled and scooted a little closer, wrapping an arm around him and leaning into him, closing his eyes, all the problems from before just... lifting away.

"Yeah. Me too."
