The magic of this part of Outer Space just kept surprising Mokey - particularly the transformations. While it was all impossible to understand, she had found she liked that about it best of all. It was so mystical! Not every "why" needed to be answered. As such, she wasn't hung up on why Daniel had been able to transform into a Fraggle. She had just accepted it, and of course, welcomed Daniel to visit the group in their home with open arms.

He'd been passing time with Gobo - as indicated by the music that echoed underground - but Gobo'd had something to do eventually, and left. While Mokey had originally been seeking out Daniel just to make sure he had everything he needed and was enjoying himself, a thought occurred to her on the way - now she could truly thank Daniel for his help and his courage in the poaching incident.

She followed what was now the sound of just one instrument until she found him seated on a shelf in the rock wall, strumming idly. "Oh, Daniel!" she called up with a wave.

"Yeah?" Daniel leaned around a little, watching her. "What was that like?"

"The Minstrels are musicians who spread their songs to all the Fraggles of the world, and Cantus is their leader, as much as they have one. He's wonderful, and he helped me hear a Ping - a spark of the music inside me. I did leave with them for about a day, but I missed home, and my friends... I was scared, really. I didn't want to lose what I had." She sat up a bit, glancing over at Daniel. "But then I learned how you cannot leave the magic. And I saw it was true when Gobo left, so... I was able to leave, this time."

"'You cannot leave the magic.'" He rolled that around for a moment, smiling. "That's a really nice way of putting that. And I'm glad you found yourself able to leave the Rock and explore some on your own, too. It's fun to get out and see new sights. If I'd never left East Hollow, I wouldn't have ever met Bridge, for example."

"Oh, that's true," Mokey said with a warm smile. "And now that you've met him, it means you have more home than you did before. I think that's another thing I've learned. Home is more about who's there than where it is."
