Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs.
It was the perfect kind of day for not knowing where she was. Mokey was perfectly happy, sitting with Gobo cuddled up to her, her arm around him as she nuzzled her snout into his hair. It was just incredibly peaceful, and calming, and something about the fact that she had no idea where they were just added to all of that. Besides, Gobo knew, and that was plenty. Mokey? She liked to go with the flow, and take things as they came.
She sat up a little - she kept adjusting her position just a bit, so her back wouldn't be sore - and brought her hand up, running her fingers through Gobo's hair. "So soft," she observed with a little giggle. It didn't have the lovely length of Red's hair, but it was softer. Red's hair tended to partway break in places, from constantly being tied up in ribbons. Still, Mokey loved Red's hair, too. It was so fun to fashion it in different ways.
"...Oh." That was a good idea, actually. "Gobo, darling?"

"I guess I just don't have enough hair to braid well."

"I guess you don't," she agreed, sheepishly. Her tail snaked around to tap against his leg; a gentle gesture to make up for the pain, in a way. "Well, not anymore - maybe when you were younger. You wore it longer."

"You remember that?"

Gosh, he really seemed to know what he was doing there, with those braids.

Her smile grew as she turned around in her seated position, so her back was to him. "Do you think you could braid my hair?"
no subject
"Sure, Mokey! Sit tight." A moment of considering, then he started work. "I've got just the idea in mind."

"Hold on, I've got just the perfect thing!" Gobo knelt and started rooting around. "I picked them up in the park this morning, should still be mostly okay..."
no subject
"Gobo, they're lovely!"
no subject
"There! I don't have a mirror or anything, but maybe we can get someone to make a picture later."
no subject
"I'm sure we can," she said, twirling the flower in her hand. "Or, I think we passed a river earlier. I heard the water running. But there's no rush, I'm sure it looks lovely - thank you, Gobo."

"I think it would be great. It should have been..." She paused, glancing around with her head titled slightly. "That way, I think!"

"It really is just a lovely little grove, isn't it?"

He looked around with a smile, simply enjoying where they were and who they were with. On reaching the water, he found a good spot where eddies helped form a quiet pool, and looked at his reflection. After a moment, he snickered.
"It's a statement, isn't it?"

"Well, I'm glad you like it, Mokey."

She came up from her drink of water with quenched thirst and an idea - inspired by Red's hair, whenever she braided it and then went swimming. "Gobo! Hold you breath!"

"Mokey?? Why...?"
