Perdita slouched down on the couch with a contented sigh. Gobo was dozing off in her lap, sprawled out half-sideways, half-on his back, with one of his legs dangling off hers.

She'd thought it would be strange, this relationship; this situation, but it was- Really nice. She smiled and gave his stomach a little pat before reaching over onto the end table and picking up a book. She set it down beside them and opened it, though she didn't pay any attention to the place in the book - or even what book it was.

After a moment of sort of pretending to read, she leaned down to kiss the side of Gobo's snout. "Comfy?"

Perdita had to snicker at that. "You're so dorky."

She headed for the kitchen, humming a mix of different tunes under her breath. She nudged the bottom-drawer freezer on the refrigerator open with a foot. "You want some ice cream? Or... Frozen peas?"

[gobetween]

"The frozen peas are tempting, but I think I would have to pick the icecream." He snickered softly, getting to his hands and dropping off her shoulder, landing lightly on his feet.

"I think you're making a good choice," she commented, pulling out a pint of orange sherbet, and then two spoons. She paused a moment before deciding she was feeling a bit cute, at which point she sat down on the floor - cross-legged - by Gobo's side.

"We have vanilla, too," she pointed out, although she felt the fruity flavor was probably what he'd prefer.

He smiled at her motion, sitting down with her, tail held cheerily behind him.

"No, the one you're holding is just fine," he admitted, making her completely right in her guess.

She took the lid off the pint of sherbet, and handed Gobo a spoon. Despite her current mood, eating out of the container truly had nothing to do with being cute - and everything to do with having fewer dishes to clean. (The dishwasher being on the list of "Things Perdita Couldn't Be Bothered To Fix", along with her car and several other things around the house.

Gobo would happily share the pint with her, cute or no. Icecream wasn't something common down in the Rock- they could mostly only manage it during the colder months when the Rock started to freeze -and it was definitely one of his favorite treats. Its ready availability up in Outer Space was a definite bonus.

"Hey," Perdita began after a spoonful of ice cream, "will you be here in about a month?"

'Will you be here' here meaning 'If you weren't going to be here, can you be?'

[gobetween]

Gobo considered that for a few moments, then nodded.

"Yeah, I think so! Why?"

[logdates]

"I don't know if you've heard about it before, but Thanksgiving's coming up. Steven and the others are having a big dinner, and it'd- I don't know, I thought you might like to come. There's going to be a ton of food, and a lot of it will be vegetables."

[gobetween]

"You had me at 'dinner,'" he snickered. Nodding, he looked up at her and smiled, tail waving behind him.

"Sure, I'd love to come!"

[logdates]

"Heh," Perdita breathed with a nod, "cool. It'll be fun, unless Pearl decides to ask you a thousand questions again."

Learning about Fraggles was always interesting, but that had been a long visit to the house.

[gobetween]

"Aw, that wasn't so bad. I probably had just as many questions about you Silly Creatures when I first came up here."

[logdates]

"Yes, but you're not condescending like she is," Perdita pointed out with a little shrug. "Well, most of the time."

[gobetween]

He's just going to take the bit of icecream her spoon was going for, that bite looks good doesn't it thanks!

"I guess, but I still didn't mind."
