Don't you know there's part of me that longs to go into the unknown?
Elsa stepped into the woods, which was covered in blanket of snow that reflected the full moon's light. The whole forest seemed to glow with it. It had been a busy day, and her mind was too restless to allow sleep, but this would at least give her some calm and quiet. She breathed in the cold winter air, feeling it renew her from the inside out. She started her walk, winding a path through the trees without paying much mind to which direction she took. She could always feel the love that called her home when it was time.
Once she'd relaxed, that allowed for some playfulness. Moving her hands elegantly, Elsa caused drifts of snow to float up into the air and swirl and dance there- Until the crunching of snow beneath feet reached her ear. She stilled, and all at once, the snow fell around her.
"Hello? Is someone there?"

Except... another little crunch of the snow behind a covered boulder. Slowly little hands grabbed it and a furry face appeared to one side, before finally this little creature in a couple layers of wintery clothing stepped out.
"Ah. Hello." Sheepish wave. "Just- just me."
Caught watching her, rats. Ever since he'd come to Outer Space everything had been so exciting and NEW. Then he'd come to this white forest, and had been going through the snow when he'd seen the Silly Creature performing magic. It had been utterly fascinating, until a little of the drift beneath him had given way, and given him away.
Just to be safe, he stayed a bit behind the boulder, just in case she felt like turning the magic toward him.

"Well, hello there. You're far from home, aren't you?"

"Yeah- Yeah!" Soft at first, then firmer. "I've only recently left, to go out and explore the world."
Coming out fully now, he walked a bit toward her, fingers toying together. "My name's Gobo. Gobo Fraggle."
no subject
"My name is Elsa," she offered, bowing her head slightly. "It's nice to meet you, Gobo. You're going to see the world? That's very exciting."

Elsa nodded at what he shared- She could certainly relate to that feeling, having felt the call to strike out on her own to further her magic not too long ago, herself. It had been hard to leave so much behind, but she knew she had to... And in the end, it had all worked out.
"I know what you mean. It can be scary, but - I've found - there's always something stronger than fear." She got her feet and took a step or two away, towards the edge of the woods, to see if Gobo might be willing to her follow her. He must be cold out there. "It hasn't always been easy for me, since I left my home. But it's worth it."

"You left your home, too...?"

"I've explored nearly every inch of Fraggle Rock. And my uncle, who's an explorer too, had done just as much before me! I'd had a few times of almost deciding to leave and then, well, I couldn't say no anymore. I just had to come out here and find out more, see more than just the tunnels and caves of my home."

"It's a big step, but just the fact that you took it is a good sign of your ability to follow through," she said, as they came to the fields beyond the woods. There was a set of small homes, essentially huts, set up in a semi-circle, and Elsa headed for nearest of these.

"This is where I live. We're all mages, and these are the people who taught me about your kind," she explained, before hesitating slightly. "I was bringing you here to warm up, but I shouldn't have assumed. I'm sorry."

The snowball was turned in his hands a few times, then he pulled himself up some, smiling still. "But- but I'm gonna have to be, eh? If I'm gonna be out here exploring Outer Space."

Inside was glowing with a soft pink light from the fireplace. It was largely just a single room, that seemed to serve as kitchen, living area, and study all at once- Though there was a curtained-off section beyond that, likely where her bed was. Bookshelves lined one wall, with heavy, near-ancient volumes resting on them. The kitchen appliances were a bit old-fashioned and simple, but only a bit. Crystals, dried plants, and a number of other curiosities hung from the ceiling, halfway down to the floor in the center of the room.
"Make yourself comfortable," she said, and there was a small sofa and a cushioned chair where he could do just that. Then, calling towards the fireplace, "Bruni, could you give us more heat, please?"
No one responded, but the fire briefly flared before calming at a brighter, warmer level than before - still quite pink, though.
