Gobo sighed happily as he stepped outside of Fraggle Home, breathing in the fresh air. Mokey and Red were with Frizzle and Dune at the park, and Wembley was helping Boober prepare lunch for the three of them. Gobo had offered to help, but Boober had... Semi-politely pointed out that Gobo was no cook, and cooking with Wembley was already going to present certain challenges. But it was kind of nice, having some "him time" - he'd decided he'd tend to the gardens, and started heading out that way.

Unfortunately, "him time" wasn't to be, unless one stretched the definition anyway. A head popped up out of a tunnel several yards from Fraggle Home- was that there earlier? -and looked around, cautious prairie dog-style. Seeing what he was searching for, he all but vaulted the rest of the way out of it and cross the grass.

"Gobo! GoboGoboGobo-WHOOP-" The unintentional mimicry of Wembley was strengthened by him falling flat when he tripped over a small rock. He lay there a moment, blinking, then got up on hands and feet, shook himself all over, and then resumed running over, hopping up some with a wave. "Gobo! I've got some news!"

Gobo instinctively spun around at his name- Wembley...? But it didn't sound like-

On spotting the other Gobo, he snickered - partially because he turned around in time to see that spill, honestly - and waved at him.

"Must be some good news," he remarked once the other Fraggle got to him.

"It's great news-!" Oh, but it'll have to wait a minute. He's been hauling tail all the way from his side to here, and he has to lean over with his hands on his knees, breathing heavily for a few moments.

Once he was sufficiently recovered, at least enough to talk anyway, he looked back up.

"I'm going back home! Better'n that, Lexi's going with me!"

...That honestly hadn't been the news he'd expected, and while something about the idea of a more homebody Gobo felt strange, he mostly felt like this made sense for the other Fraggle. They'd gotten close over the couple of years they'd known each other, and B always seemed to speak of the Rock so fondly.

And so Gobo grinned, and threw his arms around the other, which didn't even sorta feel strange anymore.

"That's great news! Oh man, you guys are gonna be so happy!"

He welcomed the hug and returned it just as energetically, laughing lightly.

"Yeah, we are!" Stepping back, he snickered some and brushed his hair back a bit. "The idea came up a couple weeks ago, and we've been talkin' hard about it since then. Lexi spoke to her uncles, and I even gave her Doc's address and she visited him for a while. Ultimately she decided she would follow me back to the Rock, when the idea of me doing that in the first place came up in a conversation."

Gobo nodded with a grin - he could understand exactly why Lexi talking to Doc had come up, and he thought it was a smart move. In fact, the idea of Lexi speaking to people who had packed up their lives and moved before had him thinking, and his smile softened at a notion.

"Hey... I wanna meet her, your Lexi."

[gobetween]

That got a surprised blink out of him. In all the time they'd known each other, the other Gobo had never seriously suggested meeting his Lexi. He got used to that idea of them being together pretty quick, but it just never came up often- nor did meeting any of the other "doubles," to be fair.

But after that initial surprise he snickered some and nodded. "Sure! I'll see what she thinks, eh?"

Gobo nodded again. "Yeah, I'd like to help her- Oh, I know she's already made up her mind, and I think it's the right choice! 'Course I do," he chuckled. "But it my still be hard for her at first..." It had been for him, at times. "I can give her some advice."

He laughed spritely and nodded. "You sure could! I don't know why I didn't think of you first." There were a few reasons honestly but-

With all the impulsiveness of a Fraggle he bounced on the balls of his feet, raring to go right now. "I'll be right back! I'm gonna go see if I can bring her here sooner rather than later!"

[strikesachord]

"Oh, well... You know, sure! That'll be great," he said, though he barely had time to say it before the other ran off, back from where he'd come. He snickered, then glanced towards the door of Fraggle home. Should he tell the guys he would be late for lunch? It might be too strange to invite the other Gobo and the other Lexi in for that...

That decision would be made for him when a notecard comes back on quick delivery that the return trip would be a bit delayed. Seemed Lexi was busy, but certainly willing to come talk to the other Gobo. Seemed all there had to be now was to wait.

Oh, sure, it would be a little strange to finally meet this other Gobo, but from what she'd heard, it had to be way stranger for him than for she. And she'd been curious for a while, now... Besides, he'd have some good advice for her, she figured.

When she and Gobo - her Gobo - emerged from their tunnel, he gave her a little wave ahead, and seeing how excited her boyfriend was for them to meet- That eliminated any remaining doubt about this meeting. She walked ahead, peering around for the other Fraggle.

The delay had certainly at least let this universe's Gobo finish lunch and get both Wembley and Boober (with difficulty) off to the park to meet the girls, just to avoid the home being too cluttered. There was always the threat of other Fraggles barging in from the greater Home area, but one just took that risk...

He was outside waiting, and on first glance of Lexi he found himself staring some. She was so like the one he knew, but... different, in ways he couldn't put his finger on. It wasn't negative, just interesting, and he smiled to see them, lifting a hand in a wave.

She smiled at him and returned the wave, heading over.

"Hey... Gobo." Okay, that was weird, in its own way. "It's good to finally meet you."
