There's lots of world out there.
The funny thing about an inter-dimensional tunnel? You could never be sure where one would pop up.
Della was doing some solo exploring. She'd been back on Earth for over a year and finally felt ready to do as much, and - inspired by a certain dayglo-bright friend - she'd decided her first time adventuring on her own since the moon would be mapping out the unexplored caverns that stretched out past Coot's underground corn stores.
Speaking of Gobo, though- At first, Della barely too note of the tiny off-shoot tunnel; to small for her to fit through, but she supposed it ought to be on the map. And once she started paying it some mind, she got curious as to who or what had formed in. Leaning down, she peered inside...
With a delighted laugh, she waved at the very familiar figure she could just barely make out in the glow from her flashlight, and her free hand reached in to ruffle a messy head of magenta hair.

"Although! Mokey and Red have joined me out in Outer Space, and it won't be long before Wembley and Boober too, do. We've found some tunnels underneath the other Duckburg that are perfect for a home base kinda place."

"Their feelings for me."

"A polyamorous relationship, that's what you'd call it," she explained casually. They were all in a relationship with him, hmm? And he'd mentioned Wembley and Boober were coming up, soon, as well... "Are the others involved with each other, too? Of course, that's not how it always has to go. As long as the five of you are happy and keep talking."
She had to admit, though, Gobo - sweet as he was - hadn't struck her as the relationship type, with any number of partners. The quick change had her smirking a bit to think about. "Just be careful to use your powers of irresistability for good," she teased with a wink.

"I'll be careful, I promise." A laugh, and he smiled. "And yeah, Wembley and Boober too," he blushed as he spoke but the fondness for them, for all of them, was clear, "though before me they got into a relationship with each other, too."

"You know, speaking of being careful... Actually, I don't know how these things work for Fraggles. You might want to go to your Uncle for a talk."
When she'd found out she'd be a parent, despite not having planned to be one, she'd been delighted, but she knew that wasn't always the case.

So instead, he turned to look at her, tilting his head some. "Careful about what..?"
When in doubt, ask.

"Intimacy?" Della ventured, going for more clarity. "It's a good idea to find out how the generation before your's handles pregnancy and all that."

He snickered some, giving her a look. "I am an adult, and all."

"I'm really proud that you recognize that. Now... Wanna see if we can find a place where that spring comes through the rocks?"

Not talking was hard.

As they walked though, the surroundings were definitely getting more lush, as lush as an uninhabited underground tunnel can get, anyway. The moss Gobo's nose had picked up was lining the walls and hanging down like curtains in some spots, and every now and then was a cluster of other small cave plants, like mushrooms and ferns. Wherever the water was, it wasn't far.

"Gobo, what did you say it sounded like again?"
no subject
Yeah, that was definitely delivered in the melody he'd been humming.
