Give me one and give me two, cover me with muck and goo.
The birthday campout hadn't quite gone as planned, but it had fueled Lexi and Gobo's friendship enough that, when the idea of a do-over came up, Lexi ultimately agreed to it. After all, she'd only spent a few hours outside on Gobo's birthday. That had been over a week ago, too.
And the first day of the trip hadn't been too bad, she had to admit. They'd picked a different place this time, a spot outside the Other Duckburg where Louie had suggested there might be arrowheads to be found that she could sell for a pretty good price. Sure, the craggy landscape had left Lexi a little concerned about sleeping comfortable, but once she was in her sleeping bag that night, she'd actually been out like a light.
She slept in late the next morning, too, even through several minutes of someone calling her for help... But when the cries did get through to her mind, she awoke with a jolt.
"Gobo? Oh man!" She scrambled out of the sleeping bag and made her way toward the source. It couldn't have just been a relaxed, lucrative little trip, now could it? Great.

Once they'd arrived there, though-
"That was really entertaining to watch."

"I'm not used to pants, alright?"
no subject
"Yes, that's what makes it funny- Don't explain the joke, Gobo."

Man, this was going to be a drag.

"Dude! How are you so bad at this?"

"I'm not used to it! Besides, it'd be better if they fit, eh? But these were all Uncle Scrooge had on hand."
no subject
"Yeah, well, I'm guessing he had two more pairs, but Unca Scrooge is a sap," she said, fondly, as she plucked at the lower hem on one of the legs.

Relaxing back on the couch, he folded his arms behind his head. "Honestly it seems like a bother to me. Fraggles have never needed money, and we do just fine."

And she was going to get to experience it firsthand. That was a nice thought.

Which, really, was exactly what she was doing.

Right now, this manifested as picking at the pajama bottoms again. He plucked the cloth and let it fall, toying a bit with the folds. After a moment or two he grabbed a better pinch and picked it up, bringing his leg off the couch with it. Set back down. Repeat on the other leg, and back down. What followed next was alternating legs "walking" style, giggling to himself after a bit.

"Having fun?"
