Pisces, Virgo rising is a very good sign: Strong and kind, and the little boy is mine
Early labor had begun while the parents-to-be were visiting the Manor, and - as with every other stage of the pregnancy - Mokey was delighted. Though the discomfort moving into pain was there, even that left her awed. Gobo was... Less awed, worrying over the midwife and the others getting there, but Mokey was sure things were going to go just fine - better than "just fine," in fact.
After about an hour of light contractions, though, she started to feel restless. She could move around without the midwife, surely... And a glance out the window told her what she needed. In typically-Mokey, absent-minded fashion, she started making her way to the door, murmuring something about being back soon to Gobo, who Scrooge was trying to reassure at that exact moment.

"Mokey? You're squeezing my hand a little hard."

She tried to ease up her grip, but found it difficult - the contractions were definitely getting stronger, and coming a bit more quickly.

Swallowing a bit, he looked up at her, other hand reaching out toward her. "Mokey...?"

Oh nonono. No. This was happening, wasn't it, and he was starting to leave-
"Gobo!"

"Mokey! Mokey it's alright, I'm here, I-" A brief, panicked panting, then he skittered a half step back. "I'm not leaving, just hold on-!"
He moved only a few steps away that time, not even out of sight, and sucked in a whole lungful of air. He shouted for help, shouted Scrooge's name, waited. Nothing. Nothing?? How could it happen like THIS-!!

"Gobo, I- I don't think they hear you. Oh!" That hurt, and in lieu of being able to hold onto Gobo's hand, she clenched her fists around her tail. "Gobo!"

"It's alright Mokey, I'm here. We'll do this together, alright?" His hand trailed down her arm and pulled a hand up with him, holding onto it, looking up into her face.

"Alright, come on Mokey, we're almost there!" At a sudden realization, the lack of anything like a towel or a blanket for the baby's arrival, he pulled both his hands back and leaned back enough to slip his vest off. It was turned upside-down and shaken to one side, emptying the pockets all in a tumble, and then he was back to Mokey. "Just a little more, you can do it, I'm here with you-!"

Her tail had remained tightly coiled in on itself through the pushing, but now she reached out with it, gently brushing the fur at the tip against Gobo's hand in a silent "thank you."

And then the baby was here. Gobo supported them with the vest, the warm weight bringing tears falling freely from his eyes that'd been building up over the whole experience, and couldn't wipe away because his hands were busy. Busy holding the baby. He was dimly aware of someone running over to them, and a look up said it was the midwife, but his attention turned right back to the baby almost immediately, even as the other Fraggle started helping him with everything remaining now.
He watched silently as the baby, startled by the new world, began crying. And when everything was said and done, it was Gobo who brought the child, still wrapped in the vest, up to Mokey's arms.

"There you are," she breathed out, completely awed. "Oh... I know you. I love you."
