We've been around the world, same song: Work hard, play hard, all day long.
It probably didn't look good, and Cody knew it. A roguishly handsome young man running through the streets of Rome, his hard-won loot visible shining in his hands. He was definitely drawing some suspicious and disapproving looks, but the enchanted dodecahedron had been fairly obtained: All of Cody's treasures always were, as a matter of fact... But people made their assumptions.
Of course, it probably didn't help that he was running like his life depending on it, but there was a reason for that - one unrelated to this treasure. That reason? The gorgeous young woman who had by now fallen a few blocks behind. Look, was it his fault that he apparently looked like some visiting, famous baseball player? He hadn't told her that's who he was, he just... Hadn't corrected her.
He ducked down an alley, and came out the other side to find that the adjacent street was less residential; full of street vendors selling their wares, mostly either food or crafts. He tucked the dodecahedron into his bag, though a corner still peeked out and shone brightly. Then, adjusting his goggles, he started to stroll further down the street - in the direction he'd been running from on the other path. Maybe he'd find something worth buying, something with value the vendor didn't even realize...
...Or maybe he'd see a somewhat familiar orange-and-fuchsia fuzzball. Cody did a doubletake, then walked over to the fruit stall where Gobo was. Chuckling, he came up behind the Fraggle and dropped a few coins beside him, the waved to get the vendor's attention.
"His next bunch of grapes is on me."
