Wembley shouldn't have been surprised when Gobo joined him in song, but... It wasn't what he'd intended. He needed to stay up, to wait for someone to come - someone had to come along. But it was also nice... He remembered the day they'd met Jingles and his friends, the day he'd figured out the missing piece to a puzzle he'd been working on for ages, even though he'd never realized until then. After Gobo had sang, he'd said... "Hey, maybe next time we can do something together, eh?"

Now was as good a time as any.

His breath hitched a bit at that. He was starting to feel afraid, now, and that line hit too close to the situation at hand. But he was close to Gobo... So he couldn't truly be sad. He pushed on.
