Mokey stood up straight, as well, but she kept her gaze on the sky. She was transfixed, but still able to think about - about how perfect this all was. Even the realization that she should have been out there sooner... It wasn't a feeling that she'd missed out, being at the Rock for so long - just immense gratitude that she was here now.
She tilted her head back, just a little, to get that perfect view of the moon - it stirred something deep within her... A familiar sort of stirring.
A song.
"All those days watching from the windows All those years outside looking in All that time never even knowing Just how blind I've been Now I'm here blinking in the starlight Now I'm here suddenly I see Standing here it's all so clear I'm where I'm meant to be."
She closed her eyes for the moment, breathing everything in.
"And at last I see the light And it's like the fog has lifted And at last I see the light And it's like the sky is new And it's warm and real and bright And the world has somehow shifted..."
Without opening her eyes, she reached out for Gobo's hand, taking it in her own.
"All at once everything looks different..." She opened her eyes, then, to glance over at Gobo with a caring, warm smile. "Now that I see you."
