Gobo felt like he could watch the rainbow forever, and for a while it felt like he did. Looking back though, he could never quite pinpoint just when it had faded away into the sunset, but it didn't matter because even that arrested his attention. The rainbow seemed to give its colors over to the sky as the sun dipped below the horizon, streaks coloring it and darkening richly. Bit by bit, stars winked into view, and the moon slipped out from behind last wisps of clouds passing through.

He sighed softly, smiling up at a sky just as wondrous as the rainbow itself had been, and he found himself wondering if he'd ever really just stopped and... looked at the stars. Even if he had, there was something different about Mokey being here to experience it with him, someone sharing that particular story.
